Ordination through the Sibiu Consistory at the End of the 18th Century (1799) A thick registry, even if it is constituted of two
incomplete fragments, known as the oldest document in an important archive
represents a huge attraction to any scholar. Dated 1799, its content is
extremely important for the study of the development of the institution that
produced it – The Consistory of the Orthodox Church in the Great
Principality of Transylvania.
