Pastoral Priorities: Our Youth

Youth is purity and smile, generosity and enthusiasm, longing for ideals and commitment; our youth is probably the most affected by or infected with harmful elements and principles of all social groups. Pastoral activities focused on our youth imply
several problems originated in the youth’s fief and which, once pointed out,
cannot be ignored or minimized. This paper tackles the issues appeared in our
parishes due to the lack of a healthy guiding of youth’s interests, and aims at
suggesting possible solutions which may help us catechize them and allow
them to freely and consciously integrate into the community. Any victory is a
spiritual gain, and any defeat is by no means giving up but reinforcement.
Our care for the youth is in fact a friendly and helping hand stretched by
friends to their friends.
